the water
answers you

One of four bioluminescent lagoons on earth — and one of the few you can swim in.

4

Lagoons on earth glow like this.

The water here holds a dense bloom of microscopic organisms that flash when they are disturbed. Trail a hand over the side and it lights. Step in and every stroke draws a line of light through the dark. It happens after sunset, it happens all year, and it is the reason people come to Falmouth.

Limbo and fire dance

The fire and limbo dance began on the slave ships as a form of exercise, and is still danced through Caribbean carnival and calypso as a symbol of survival — a remembrance of Africa and a product of cultures merging.

Sit back, get a drink, and watch it up close.

Big up to Captain Vincent and his crew

Recently did a night tour while in Jamaica and had the pleasure to board Captain Vincent’s vessel. It was a phenomenal experience and I will be recommending it to everyone I can.

Best experience ever

This was absolutely amazing. Chip and Jay were the best people ever — so nice, funny, and really down to earth. They made it so worthwhile. Whenever I come back my group will definitely book.

Great experience

Everyone in our group loved this. We ate at the restaurant before going out on the water and the food was enjoyed by all. It was a bit chaotic when they were ready to board the boats but it worked out in the end.
